Anyone have instruction on installing a winch

I too am looking for help with winch installation. I have the winch mounted to the bumper no problem but I am having a hard time finding a good home for the control box where I can still access the plug for the remote.

How did you mount the winch ??? Pls don't tell me that the winch mounts where the fairlead is bolted ???

Yup. Bolts to the front of the bumper. The fairlead goes through the bottom two bolts. The bottom two bolts aren't installed yet in my pic.

The Love and Hate relationship with this bumper continues...

having issues with my SmittyBilt X20 winch ... seems like I cant get to my free spool handle with this bumper.

I'll take pics to show it tomorrow.

I'm almost close to dumping this thing for something else but there isnt anything else thats a full replacement bumper in the market thats to my liking...
