Problems With Ads in Messages!

When I write a message and click Submit it just sits there forever doing nothing then finally after about 5 minutes it will update and post the message. Then, when I look at the message I find that it has a big annoying ad in it! Is waiting for the ad server what takes so long? Can these annoying ads be eliminated if they are going to cause problems? Who is making all the money from the ads anyway?

I's amazing how many ads and web trackers are active on forums these days

Adblock Plus in Chrome got rid of them.

just a way for the forum to make money, kind of like commercials on tv, everything cost money, i HATE the ads, but I put up with them seeing how Im not paying to read the forum.

Well web sites don't cost much and there are a ton of ads so someone must be making a bundle!

usually only if you click on them do they pay much of anything.

Question becomes how many would pay yearly membership dues to have an add free website?

On a similar note, is there some way to get rid of all those stupid little dancing smilies that are all over the place? Makes it look like I'm using AOL from 1992!

correct, the site itself doesnt cost much, the domain doesnt cost much, from my understanding, and I NOT, an IT/computer guy, but its the bandwith, thats cost money.
May be someone that know about this stuff will chime in.
