Proud new owner of 2 4runners!

Well I've wanted a 4Runner for years now and about a month and a half ago we bought my wife a 2003 Limited V8 to replace her Honda CRV. With her getting a "new" car I got the itch to get one to, so once I sold my Chevy 2500 I started looking for my own new car. I wasnt going to get another 4Runner until I came across one for sale here that was right by my the in-laws. So last weekend while we were up visiting I went and picked up my own 4Runner, a 1997 SR5 4x4 5spd. Heres our new rides:

Thanks man! Yeah I bought the 97 just like it is from another T4R.org member. The plate bumper isnt really my thing so I'll probably end up swapping it for a stock bumper and grill guard. Otherwise I've had a blast with it. 4x4 5spd was always a combo I though would be fun on a 4runner...

Yeah he almost took it off, but we ended up working out a deal for me to keep it. He said he was gonna sell it local and I guess that was you!

Ideally I'm hoping to try and do the 99+ fat lip bumper with a grill guard but if I dont get any interest in trading for that I'll definitely let you know.

Yup we sure did. So far I love them both. The wifes is definitely more of a luxury mobile but they are both a blast to drive. I'm excited about getting into a forum again... Haven't been active in once since my Jeep days in college.
