PSA-Factory Pro Fox Shocks are servicable...

Did a search and couldn't find any info on this and just wanted to let you Pro owners know that your factory Fox shocks are serviceable and Fox even provide the cost of the rebuild and instructions on how to send it in. Below is the email confirmation that I got back from them when I contacted them just out of curiosity.


Good Afternoon,

TRD Pro shocks are servicable. Price for a rebuild is $126 per shock, which includes full tear down, cleaning and inspection of all parts, new seals, oil and nitrogen in the shock. If we find other parts that need to be replaced, we will reach out for approval. When ready please visit Truck Suspension Service | FOX submit a service request and ship to 13461 Dogwood Dr. Baxter MN 56425. Please write your service request number on the outside of the box prior to shipment.

I did not ask but going off their website for street use they recommend servicing them at 50K miles.

Less so thinking about the pain in the ass that will be to coordinate a rebuild on my daily driver... especially the fronts.

No point in rebuilding the Bilstein Pro suspension. You can just get the 6112's and 5160 to replace them. Plus they seem to be more prone to leaking, are a basic shock and don't have the internal bypass like the Fox's.
