Hey guys. Been lurking on this site for a couple weeks now. Well I'm about to buy a 98 4runner sr5 4x4. Well I was at the salvage yard and came across a 97 limited with these on it. Springs have 9 maybe 10 wraps? I couldn't find anything on the springs. Maybe trd tundra springs? Can anyone tell me what springs these are and if it will lift my 4runner and if so how much? Thanks.

Those are stock springs for a 4Runner. Sorry if that bursts your bubble.

The struts are Bilsteins (you probably read the label though), not sure how much life they have in them though.

Thank you. Are they stock 97 springs? I read on here stock ones except for the 99 had 8 wraps?

They look identical in every way to my stock 98 springs. I believe 96-98 used the same parts, but don't quote me on that.

The 99's have taller rear springs but I'm not sure about the front. I'm thinking not though since people usually put Land Cruiser or aftermarket springs up front.

Edit: Did a quick search and found this, looks like the fronts might be taller as well.

I ended up going w/ the 99 "tall" springs.

part numbers:
FR Springs - Blue / Yellow (48131-35400) Passenger Side
FL Springs - Blue / Pink (48131 - 35350) Driver Side
REAR Sprigs - Yellow / Red (48231 - 35210)

Those are factory 97 springs, I think they may be 2WD springs as well based on the color code, which would be the lowest sitting 4Runner springs ever made.
