I have a question. Has anyone else experienced their vehicle pulling to the right when pushing the gas then pulling to the left when you let go of the gas? I replaced all the rear control arm bushings with poly and still does it. I can’t seem to figure it out so I’m looking for advice. Thanks

Perhaps its a stuck caplier and/or drums out of adjustment? Or front control arm bushings?
I’ll check the drums tomorrow and see if that’s it.
When I changed out the bushings I inspected where they attach to and it fine with no rot. There is no rust on the undercarriage because the vehicle is from the Southwestern desert.
Check your rear control arm bushings. Before I changed mine I could change lanes by just getting on throttle and then drift back by letting off. By the time I changed mine the inner sleeve on one of the lower bushings fell right out as soon as I unbolted it.
I've also had one of the bolts work loose and it ovaled the hole on the link mount on the rear axle. That has the same effect.

Thanks. Hopefully that’s it. I’ll check them out today and Retorqued them if needed.
If you have a long breaker bar. Use that.

I replaced my rear lower control arms and one of the bolts had a little rust on it and would look and feel tight but was not tightening down all the way. My rig was doing the exact same thing pulling to the right under load and then to the left when I let off the gas. Replaced the bolt and got it tight and now it tracks perfectly.
Get some sockets and make sure everything on the rear suspension is super tight.
Thanks everyone for your input. I went underneath it today and inspected it. Some of the bolts were loose and I noticed they were grade 5 bolts. They looked very similar to OEM bolts. The OEM bolts have a #11 on then. I went and got all eight bolts and replace them all and tightened them down really good. Took her a test drive and wow night and day difference.

Mine doesn’t pull to the right when hitting the gas bit pulls to the right in general. Might need an alignment..

Yeah most likely. Does it pull when you let go of the steering wheel ? If your lifted with big tires. It’s hard to get a good mechanic who knows how to do a wheel alignment on modified trucks.

Not too bad when it pulls to the right. And no no modifications yet! But it’s a slight pull so shouldn’t be to bad getting it aligned.. and also my friends dad is the service manager a a yota dealership where I work so hopefully he can help me out and give me a discount XD

If you work at the dealer just do it off the clock for free. It's what I always do when I need to work on my rig.
