dang man that roof rack looks awesome mounted like that! i dont even want to put mine back on after seeing how could it can look without those cross bars. good job man!

Which model are the lights? Also, do you have a write up on how you installed them? I have come cheap lights from walmart that I put on my rear bumper with some zip ties but they look really bad.

It was a very simple install.
I drilled a hole in the deflector, so it would accommodate the bolt.
Then mounted the light with the supplied bolts.
The wires are running in between the roof and the hatch.
Then I made a little hole in the existing rubber tube, that holes all the wires from the hatch to the truck. I ran the wiring harness through that hole, then sealed it with rubber tape.
all of the wires are running in side the panels.

Looking good Pure98. I have a 98 desert dune LTD as well and am just now beginning the mod process. Definitely looking to your rig for inspiration. Your mods are clean and functional. I've copied the way your basket mounts to the factory rails (although I bolted two pieces of L bracket together).

Looks killer man, I'm debating buying one identical to yours (stock though), this thread got me pumped about what it could look like, I wasn't originally thrilled about the color but yours looks great.

Such a sick build... I have a 98 SR5 (black) which I was thinking about selling, but you've totally inspired me to hold on and make a couple mods! You should definitely consider the sliders, I know that 4xInnovations carries some pretty cool looking and somewhat cheap ones:
4x Innovations: 90-02 4 Runner Rock Sliders
That being said, I do have a couple questions (for anyone reading this thread). Who know's where I can get my hands on an ARB front bumper? I can't find anything on the ARB site, and I'd have to get damn lucky in a junkyard to stumble on one of those. Maybe some fabrication shops have a similar build?
I'm also thinking about throwing on some tube doors for summer, but most shops don't build for anything past the 2nd gen. Net doors would be kinda cool as well, but if anyone's got a link to a site that builds tube's I'd greatly appreciate it!

What do tube doors and an ARB bumper have to do with Pure98's build thread? He has neither of those things. Start a new thread or better yet, search first. The very place you linked to for sliders (4xinnovations) makes tube doors and I'm sure Adam (the owner) would be happy to make some custom 4runner doors if they don't already. As far as the ARB goes, have you ever looked? Just about every big 4x4 shop in the world is an ARB dealer.

I had it done, but i upgraded my ISO to Lion and i lost my Final Cut Pro. :wtf:
I can't find a serial for it. I'm going to take it to work to see if i could get it exported.
