Putting sump pan back on?

So I installed my IPT valve body and shimmed the accumulators today, so I am now trying to put the sump pan back on and it is causing the most issue.

Are there any tricks? I expected it to bolt right up, but it has to be forced into position, I can get it to line up with ton of force, but then trying to get a bolt in is impossible
