Question for those who've sold their stock wheels

alright fellas - this site has been real helpful for me up to this point, hoping I can get some input on how much $ to sell my wheels for.

from my 2002 SR5, wheels are in good shape, no scratches or scuffs. tires are on the wheels, still have a decent amount of tread left... 10-15k miles remaining if I had to guess.

set of four (4) Goodyear Tracker2 Tires P265/70/R16
set of four (4) OEM 16x7 Alloy Wheels

I live in CO and am gonna try craigslist first. looked on ebay and one refurbished wheel was going for $130 - seemed a little steep to me.

so for the set of wheels and tires together... $400? am I way off?

What wheels though. That makes a big difference. The OEM 5 stars are worth the most, followed by the sport/limited 2002 bottle cap wheels. If they are the 5 star I'd say you should get $300 or more.

I sold my oem 5-star's with tires for about $300. That seemed to be about the going price at the time.

With tires ... $300 is a fair price. No need to go lower assuming they are unscratched.

IMO, $400 is way off.

Here in San Diego you can buy a used set of 5-Stars from one of our many scrap-yards for $99 a wheel. But that comes with a warranty and return policy.

Picking up wheels from the back of truck off CL .... I would say only $75 a wheel.

I sold my sport wheels for $375(full asking price) about two weeks ago. I had 5 offers the first day that they were posted on Craigslist. Here's my thread about it.

I would advertise for $400 since people always low ball and settle for their going price of $300.

How funny I just sold my five stars on craigslist for $250 just the wheels, and we're both in Denver! Looks like they're very easy to sell asking around $350 with the tires.
