Belize roads...In General... are horrible!

My concern is...

Smooth roads do not assault ball joints!... But...

What about rough roads/vibration!? How do you calculate/figure the ratio of replacement??

I really don't want to have to replace ball joints every year, but I don't want to crash into an oncoming bus...

The only way to know if you have to replace your ball joints is to check them, Toyota told me that there is no specific interval for maintenance for ball joints. here is a thread i created about this and hope is gives you a bit more information about them. you might have seen it already.

Thanks! I'll check it out. I realize that there wouldn't really be a set interval, I was just hoping to get some input from some who regularly drive down rough roads, causing excessive vibration, and perhaps what they thought about how often they check them, need to replace them, etc.
