Quick light bar in bumper question

So I'm looking to install a 20" LED light bar in the opening of the bumper as others have done. I'm not interested in installing one above the windshield so I decided this was the next best place.

Many of the light bars have mounts on the bottom and some have them on the sides. I'm assuming because of the limited space, I need to find a 20" light bar that has the mounts on the sides?

How do they mount inside that cavity?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I have a 24" in mine. You'll need to cut into the plastic valance to make room, so be sure to measure twice and cut once!

You cannot side mount very well since the plastic will bend and warp over time and your light bar will bounce around. I drilled holes in the bottom of the metal part (I have the 96-98 bumper) and secured it with bolts and nuts. It's not going anywhere, I don't have any pictures though. I guess mine is "top mounted".

The ones I was I looking at have the triangle mounts on the ends. I read some where on here where the guy used the same style and mount them directly to the rear, on the radiator brackets?

Does that make sense? I'm worried If I buy the type that mount on the bottom, that there will not be enough room to fit them (vertical height).

Yes, they look exactly like that. How did you mount yours again?

So yours are mounted exactly like how it is shown in the amazon picture (downward)? I was skeptical that there would be enough room (up and down) given how tight the space is.
