Quick question about front spring assembly

Is there supposed to be a centering washer used between the top plate and rubber bushings on tundra 5100s?

I didn't get one and if the old one is to be used I'm **** out of luck

I got my 5100s last night from wheelers - there is a centering washer in my parts bag.

While I was waiting on a reply I found a thread where a guy bought kyb shocks and got the centering washer but was told by Kyb tech support that it wasn't needed.

Funny wheeler's sent you centering washers with your front shocks and they didn't with my rear shocks that I know for a fact use one.

I know there are several people that have assembled their own. Can somebody tell me if I need one and if I do, where I can get one by tomorrow?

I don't remember seeing one on my OEM assembly.

Anybody??

I got one assembled with trd springs but the top hat moved around on me and isn't lined up like I want it. My patience was lost when I realized the top hat was sitting a little cattywampus after the spring compressors were removed.

I'm taking them to a shop tomorrow to get this done painlessly this time but I don't want to pay the shop twice if I find out later a centering washer was needed.

I didn't get one with my 5100's. I had the same issues, the top hat looked a little off once the spring compressor was removed. Hasn't caused me any issues at all though.

So I took it to the shop my friend manages yesterday and he says the one I did is fine. However, I didn't have it in me to do the other one so a paid him $20 and drank a coke while he had an employee do it on the wall mounted press in less than 10 minutes.
