so all this being said about the 2.0 kit, would you have been better suited to opt for the 2.0 with 650lb or 700lb coils, and not have to crank it up as much to get the lift you wanted? would that have solved some of the harshness?

I went from Radflo 2.0 with 650 lb coils to Icon 2.5 with 650 lb coils, both set at 3.5" lift. I haven't really had the Icon's off road, but on road the Icon's are smoother overall even with the same spring rate. Right before I switched, I lowered the Radflo's to ~2.25" lift and it was better, but IMO the Icon's are still better for on road use, and I'm certain off road there will be no disappointments.

From what I understand it's some sort of internal bump stop that makes the noise. It's only under light compression. For example, when I come home and go over a speed bump they will make a sort of thump noise. It won't always do this, it depends on how fast and the angle I hit it. Any other type of driving this is nonexistent. So whenever off road I will get the noise but It's nothing that worries me due to the great performance they had this weekend. I think it needs to be addressed in future RADFLO designs. Other than that it's the best ride I've had on a 4runner setup and the smoothest.

Totally agree with this 2.0 analysis.
