As the title states, I bought some Raingler "Mil-spec" bolt on grab handles. About a week ago, I went to do the install and realized that the diameter of the gromet on the grab handles is smaller than the supplied hardware for mounting.
I emailed Raingler about this and they immediately sent out new grab handles with larger diameter gromets. I am not sure if this is an issue they've had before because they didn't actually reply to my e-mail about the issue, they just sent all new grab handles.
Anyway, I went to install the new grab handles today and noticed when using the supplied washers (one for behind the handle and one for between the bolt and the grab handle) the bolt would not even come into contact with the threads on the nut-set. The only way to get the bolt to come into contact with the threads in order to thread in was to remove both washers and have the bolt rest directly against the gromet. And last, after figuring out all these, one of the nut-sets plastic pieces you insert the bolt into broke causing me to lose the nut-set in hole where the grab handle is bolted to.
I don't know if it's just me having bad luck or what... What am I doing wrong???
