Random Buy-back Letters?

Is anyone else receiving solicitation from Toyota dealers asking to purchase back your 4Runners? I received two today.

Randomly and unfortunately, I am about to sell my Runner :cry2: because I am getting a company truck in my new position. Does anyone think the stealer-ship will offer a decent price for it with this program?

They won't give you a whole lot and it is in hopes that you will buy a new 4Runner so they can get the factory incentive for moving the new truck. Have had this a couple times

If you really want to know, contact the dealer. If you're serious, check the NADA wholesale price first to see what it's really worth. Then you'll know if they're giving you a fair deal.

I sold a car to CARMAX

and felt that i got a reasonable price for it. it's so hassle free. They just borrow it for about a 1/2 hour, then give you a quote that you can either take or decline. Maybe worth a try if youre considering selling it anyway?

We keep getting a letter for the GX470, not the runner. I think they are BS. The dealer basically gives you more on one end of the deal and takes from the other.
