After I installed 3 front, transmission, etc skids, I moved to the fuel tank. But...how in the world are you removing the OEM bolts that are on the OEM legs? One in particular I can't get enough room to get a wrench in to remove the bolt....the drive shaft blocks the way ->

I just did mine today and a ratcheting box-end wrench was enough to get that problematic bolt off and replaced.

Ok....got the fuel tank and lower link skids on.

I was probably just tired last night. Went out there today and used a normal 12mm wrench to get the bolt off first try. I don't do car work so wasn't used to such tight areas...the wrench only had enough space for maybe 20° movement. A ratching box wrench definitely would have helped. My tools suck.

Anyway...I was nervous for the lower link skids with drilling into the frame...but, it went fine. I did use a 5/32" drill bit first as a pilot hole, then used the 1/4" drill bit.

Final thoughts:
1. The fit and finish on all of the products is great. Everything came well shipped too (no box damage, the boxes were thick, etc), which I can't say for some other stuff that has come in.

2. I was worried with adding the extra weight that I would lose some clearance due to shock compression. But...the RCI skids did not move my springs at all. Exact same measurements before and after. Maybe I should have gotten steel instead. No big deal though.

3. Now I have to figure out what to do with the OEM front and fuel skid plates? I would assume the fuel tank skid is basically going in for recycling somewhere. Though, since I have a TRD Off road, maybe the front skids are sellable on craigslist? Don't sr5s not come with skid plates? I could be wrong...

Oh...I forgot.

5. The instructions state I should tighten everything to original OEM specs, but where am I supposed to find that info for all of the bolts?

I mean, I don't have torque wrenches anyway, but I could probably find a friend that has some.

Use the german equivalent, guttentight [emoji12] and check them after a few hundred miles

That is the cross member....it bolts using 2 bolts (one each side). It goes in the middle of the 4runner and is used to anchor the rear of the transfer case skid. Basically...the rear of the "RCI Full skid package".
The instructions didn't say this, but my 4nr had cables on one side and a bracket holding them. You undo the bracket bolt, throw that bolt away, and then that is the anchor location for the cross member and the new RCI bolt.

Suggest having a small jack or friend to help install this section. Of all the plates this was the most difficult to install for me and had a friend help hold and line up the bolts and don't for get the anti seize on the bolts.
Also suggest a small stubby socket wrentch to fit into the upper sections.
This video has a good walk through and example at around the 12:20 mark:
