Tailgate Window occasionally will not open.

Hi all,
2024 4Runner with 20,200 miles. No accidents.

I've been having an issue with the tailgate window sometimes not opening.
On 2 occasions, when I'd left it open in my garage and then went to close it, it wouldn't. On those 2 occasions, I was able to get it to close with the exterior buttons on the tailgate.

Is anybody else having this issue?

Of course, when I take it to Toyota, the tech is UNABLE TO DUPLICATE...

Starting to get annoying.

it happens and typically rusts . I grease the lock and metal portions of it, it seems to have helped and Ive had no issue since then.

I have an '18 and the window seems reluctant and slow to open or close on the few times I use it. I chock it up to lack of use, maybe two or three times annually.

when my tailgate window was acting up I ended up replacing motor and regulator and it solved all problems
