Ford hired two of the most experienced hammer drivers, and Dave Cole's Son Bailey grew up at Johnson Valley, so he aint no slouch either. Ford then purpose built those trucks just for the Bronco release. Smart marketing, but I don't really consider them true "Every Man Challenge" trucks.
Full factory support in off road racing is always a good thing, but in this class its insanely lopsided compared to the competition. So Ford will dominate for years to come.
Vendor support is really strong for most of the EMC entries, but most will never have the budget these 3 trucks have for testing and R&D.
I also wonder if the LC 200 steering rack isn't stout enough for this kind of racing. The Tundra might be, but I don't know of any EMC entries that have run one.
It will be interesting to see how Sherpa and TWC approach next year's KOH.
