Really good find?...but...

Today on craigslist i found a 2000 toyota 4runner for $5000, with only 127k miles on it, the listing was put up on april 30th...so i was thinking the car would definitely be sold by now. do the listings go off once the item is sold? i texted the guy to see if it was still for sale and i have not gotten a reply yet

In my experience, (One and a half years trying to find the perfect Runner), the car is probably sold. If its not and the guy texts back, look over the car meticulously. Cause chances are a handful of people already looked at it and decided to pass on it for some reason.

Best of luck and take your time buying one. But pounce on it when you find it.

You have to be very quick on craigslist.
After looking at dozens,My 98 Limted 4x4 with 90,000 miles for $5000 came off local cl.I just kept looking and called as soon as one popped up.Good luck

Yes. If the ad is still up, I'm assuming it's one of the two. If it was legit, then I bet the vehicle itself is long gone and the seller forgot to delete the ad. If it's active, I bet it's a scam.

Yep, anything worth buying on CL is gone very quickly. Scams and overpriced junk will wait around for weeks while you leisurely consider it.

That would be awesome if you would do that Hepar, i really dont know what i should be looking for when it comes to the used 4runners
