Rear axle options?

Ok so that would mean only the rear differential gearing itself would vary (4.10 4.30 etc) which is a bolt onto the same axle housing across the board. BUT the ABS option is the main thing on the axle housing itself.

Not talking e locker here so out of equation.

I'm looking to replace my '02 SR5 axle housing only and reusing all my components.

Any insight on all axle housings being the same ?

You can use the housing with or without ABS. The only difference is that there is a tab to accommodate the abs sensor. You can always weld something up or use Zipties. I ended up selling that axle I found to someone else that needed it. I eventually bought the heavy duty center cap from Barnes 4WD. I wheel a lot and was going o get a diff skid. I decided to go with the Barnes diff cover because it was thick enough where I wouldn't need a skid plate. I would suggest to go with this option as it involves the least amount of work, and is very stout..
