I don't have anyone currently in line for it. What I've been doing is just having the current person (that would be you) hold on to it until the next one in line comes up, as long as it's not too long.
Also, not that it's any help now (though [MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION] and [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION]'s video is just as good), I did find the instructions under my work bench over the weekend. Lol!

Second truck is also done now! Everything looks to be holding. So nice having brakes again.
A word of advice to anyone going down this road, you don't need the seal puller, but you absolutely need a seal driver.
Will hold onto the tool for the next person, or whenever you want it back. Please drop me a PM so I get notified, just in case I miss a post here.

I believe I am that guilty party you are talking about. I watched your video, set about the work, and somehow still forgot to remove the stupid clip. The tool bent like hell. I have to give props to Duane, even though it was 100% my screw-up, and I even admitted as much after he reminded me to double check the clip when I emailed him, he still sent me a replacement part at no cost to me!
I was one of the first people to order the tool I guess and he had since moved to a thicker metal plate and a welding jig that made much cleaner welds. The original tool would have been able to do the bearing job no problem if I hadn't been such an idiot and forgotten the clip. The new one could probably do the job even with the clip left on!
Anyways, I was reading this thread and felt like I needed to both own my screw-up and pay my compliments again to the awesome creator of this specialty tool, when used properly it makes the job very easy. If you are going to buy this tool, buy it from the original creator, he stands by his tool as no china knock-off copy-cat will!
P.S. Don't forget to remove the clip! If there is anyone on this forum that needs this tool and lives in my area, PM me.

I think it's the seals that came with the kit I got from Low Range Offroad. They weren't either the old OEM or the new OEM style of seals, so I'm assuming they are just junk. You know, I enjoy wrenching on my truck so I take it in stride. Luckily I'm at home working so I don't need a 2nd vehicle for a little while, so I can do the job slow and steady :lookout:

That sucks! Hopefully you can just replace the seal and the retainers will be in the right spot

Oh man, I feel for you..... Hope it goes quick. I found OEM bearings on Ebay for ~$30 when I did mine[MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION] was right:

Here's a question I'm pretty sure I know the answer to, but thought I'd get some reassurance from others: Can I run the rear diff without oil in order to pull my truck out, turn it around, and pull it back into the garage? I wouldn't be going more than 5 mph, and most likely less, so I'm thinking it would be okay. It's a tight fit in my garage, so I usually park to one side to give myself enough space to work.
Have you already drained the diff? And, why? You can do the axle service by jacking one side at a time and not have the lube drain out.

I think I'm somewhat local to you (Bellevue area) so I can pick it up and drop it back to you (I think you had it back to redo your seals).

Also, here's the video I did of replacing my seals. Honestly, I think [MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION] and [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION]'s video is much more comprehensive, but it was fun to make!

Actually just watched it this AM, been binge watching Rear Axle Seal replacement videos. Very nice job putting it together. A lot of work goes into videos, filming (?) them is hard enough, then trying to edit it all is very time consuming. Making it watchable is on another level
