Rear brakes lock up....dont think it's a seal issue

I'm driving along, minding my own business, thinking about how much I love my 4Runner, and as I'm drifting to a stop with steady pedal pressure, the back brakes lock up and I drag tire for a moment. It even happened in the Taco Bell drive through.

It typically does it once or twice and then seems to go away after warmed up. They lock up for a moment and then relax when I let off the pedal.

I pulled the brakes, bled the cylinders, looked for leaks, made sure the shoes were clean (no signs of any chemicals on them, but cleaned them w/ brake cleaner anyway) adjusted based on FSM, and everything was good to go for like 2 or 3 weeks

I dare say it's even gotten worse since replacing my 2 front brake lines.

Any thoughts?

I had the same problem. Loosen the automatic adjuster so there is no tension. You can do it from back side of wheel or with wheel off. Then back up, put on brakes repeatedly until it self adjusts automatically. This fixed mine. How does thd ebrake feel when u pull it? I used to use my ebrake all the time and that seemed to make my rear passenger brake over tighten and stick.
