Rear Coil Springs 2000 LTD 4WD

I'm getting ready to replace these, will I need to compress these at anytime to get them in??? Anything I should keep in mind?? Please Advise.

no you don't need to compress the rears for install. You can put the frame on jack stands, disconnect the lower shock bolts and use the jack to flex the axle enough to pull and install the springs. You will need to disconnect the sway bar and keep an eye on the brake hard lines. Mine got tight and I had to unbolt the holder bracket from the axle. Also watch the ABS wire that runs to the brake drum. It gets tight too when you flex the axle enough to pull the spring.

No compression needed, I put the rear on jack stands and then used the jack to jack the opposite side to let the other side drop more (ie, I jacked the right side so the left side would drop) after a bit the springs just came out.
AS mentioned watch the brake lines

I only had one jack stand so I actually left the opposite tire on; worked out pretty well.
