Rear control arm bushings

Hey guys quick question on the lower control arms, I just spent quite a bit on my off road stuff do i need to purchase the lower control arms for the front I did purchase the front lower control arm skid plates for my 03 4runner

Not unless your bushings are toast. It's cheaper to buy new lca's as a whole than just the bushings.

4th Gen Rear Link Bushings - RUBBER

I didn't want poly bushings since they can squeak. I realize rear link replacements with new bushing are pretty cheap (RockAuto, especially. MOOG, Mevotech, etc).

But I still wanted to try to replace the bushings. I literally measured the dimensions and started clicking through other Japanese and European car bushings on RockAuto. Audi and BMW use a lot of bushings, so I figured I could fine one that had the right dimensions.

The lowers have the same dimensions as a R50 Nissan Pathfinder lower link. That said, the rubber is a slightly different mold structure, but the bushings fit and function just fine. Nissan Pathfinder Lower Link

The uppers have the same dimensions as one of the common Audi control arm bushings. The cup is aluminum instead of steel, so it pressed in very nicely. Audi Control Arm Bushings

These are in my 4th gen now and working fine. Feels like new and no more knocking/looseness back there.

I've been searching around google a bit but haven't really found anything. Is it possible to change out the bushings on the rear upper and lower control arms or do you have to change the entire arm? I noticed mine in the rear were looking pretty worn when I was under it yesterday, and at least one of the uppers is busted (I can almost see through part of it).

Are they leaking fluid or has the rubber look torn?

Any noise coming from the corners when driving over bumps or tight corners?
