Rear diff light woth air locker!?

I remember reading a DIY on here about installing a rear air locker with factory rear diff light. I was just wondering if anyone else working on this mod with abs, to function like the oem elocker setup? Sorry I guys am typing all of this out of my phone.

I cleaned up what I could understand... I think.

You're asking if you can make it so that engaging your air locker disables ABS like an e-locker does from the factory?

In addition to this, you also want the "RR DIFF LOCK" and "ABS" lights to turn on when you engage your rear air locker?

I think if we get this cleared up, some of the more saavy folks on here could help you out.

I like this idea.

I would think all you would need to do is find the wire(s) that illuminates that light, and splice it from your locker switch.

And if you're asking if this would disable your ABS, no. You'd have to have "always on" relay, so when you flip the switch to the locker, it would open the relay to the ABS.

More wiring and such, that isn't worth it.

Just use the air locker. It's worth it.

Asking if anyone did this mod with disabling the abs with air locker. Yes I may be just making it more simple but just running it the way it already is.

Many (most?) little cube relays have two 'output' terminals. One of them connects to the input when the relay is 'on' or engaged, the other connects to the input when the relay is 'off'.

Get one that does (it will have 5 terminals, 87A is the 'off' output, 87 is the 'on' output) and it should be easy to use that in place of the switch in an 'Andy mod'.
