Rear Diff Locker Button Question

It's a manual, he does not. I forgot that when I was typing out a list of common mods.

That sounds like a good price if it is in good condition, especially for that market. I would try to negotiate with hi now instead of waiting an seeing if he drops the price on his own. Gas prices or no, that seems underpriced for that market. I would definitely check it out well to see why it has been sitting for 60 days (a 3rd party mechanic inspection would be a good idea, I wish I had gotten that on mine).

I havn't heard of a dealer putting just the locker button in to fool customers. If someone did that to me, I would sue them (assuming they at some point said it did have a locker) for the price of installing one. If its a dealer especially. They could get in real trouble for that kind of thing.

BTW ironhippy, my locker worked after 11 years in New England. I am probably one of the lucky few though. The diff carrier is pretty rusted on the outside, and I am working to get the actuator bolts off because they are very rusty so I can clean it out, but all the diff internals, locker and gears, seem to be pristine.
