Rear drawer slides - UPDATED

Update:
Slide has been completed. Updated my build thread with some pics...

For all you guys who have built your own storage drawers, where were you able to find accuride slides for a decent price?

Wanting to build a DIY fridge slide for my heavy cooler. Found a place on island but need to buy slides in sets of 2. Wondering where any of you have found accuride slides sold singularly. Looking for the accuride 9308 in 30 inch lengths. Lock- in / lock-out.

If I can find another buyer I could always by the sets and sell one set off...

Local place quoted me $455 including small freight (to hawaii) for 2 sets of slides and the bracket kit (4 sets). 2 sets are needed if you want to bottom mount..... 1 set to for the sides (mount to base) and 1 set for the slide (mount to hold piece which fridge will sit on. If making a drawer, you only need the slides...
 
What are you mounting the sliding tray on to?

Not sure it will work for your application, but I just used a set of uprights to mount the slides for my tray. See HERE.

I purchased the slides from a local shop for ~$150CDN per pair, which would be ~$100USD. They do ship to the US, but not sure if all or just lower 48. Might be worth checking out. LINK

Saw someone who bolted a 3/4" piece of birch to the floor. (I can find the link later). I'm thinking of doing this with t-nuts so I can remove the slide if needed. Brackets will be mounted to the base, then slides mounted to brackets (outside) , and brackets mounted to inside of slides.. a metal pan, an angle iron frame, or even a piece of wood to put the cooler on...

With shipping cost high on a production fridge slide, it could be cheaper to dIY, and I could always modify the width of the slide if my needs ever change.

Slides are 300lb rated for mobile applications and full extension, so it will be easy to fill and unload.. [MENTION=86748]Ol'Baditude[/MENTION] totally similar to your cooler slide... awesome

Yea.. too bad Amazon no more..

Called McMaster as well $170 for a pair, and $85 shipping to Hawaii...

Got onto the USA site for Lee Valley, and they were actually cheaper ($128) than the CAN site ($154). Shipping came out to $55 (UPS to Hawaii) so total came out to $182. Excited to get these beast of slides (18lbs) in and installed..

Trying to get the brackets from a local distributor, but if thats a no-go, then I'll have my friend fab up some angle iron.
 
Was super excited to have my slides finally get delivered today (was supposed to come on Tuesday) but didn't go as planned... UPS delivers a VERY light box that is partially opened.. slides are no where... filed the claim with UPS, called Lee Valley... all is (I hope good) and company will be sending me a new pair.

As for their customer service, I do need to give Lee Valley some huge kudos... UPS on the other hand.. meh...

I also picked up some 2x angle iron today. Gonna have a friend weld on some cross pieces for the tray and mock up the base over Christmas Vacation time...

$154 is CDN funds which equals out to ~$100 USD with today's exchange rate.

Finally got around to completing my project. (more pics in my build thread)

- Accuride 30" 500lb Lock-in/Lock-out slides
- 2" angle iron for bottom brackets
- 2" angle iron and some for cooler tray
- 3/4" birch plywood lined with bed armor bolted to the metal truck floor
- Trunk lined with sound dampening material.
- Bottom brackets attach with bolts and t-nuts to be removable.
