rear locker relay and switch

I am trying to diagnose a problem with my rear locker. Can anyone tell me where the relay is for it, and what the part number is for the switch in the rear diff that controls it? Right now the problem is that it won't engage at all, the light just slowly flashes.

I'm guessing you're trying to engage the diff-lock with the switch while in 4H, correct ?

That's the issue I'm looking to solve... It won't engage unless you're in 4L (low range), but the light will stop flashing & stay solid.

I'd like to be able to lock the rear diff in 2WD and 4HI, and hope to find a bypass around it.

No I was trying in 4L. It can be finicky. I finally got it to work in the snow, it seams to engage more easily on very slippery surfaces.
