So I removed my factory receiver hitch for better clearance. Now I have no where to even hook a tow rope or anything else. I would love a kit that adds a receiver hitch through the stock bumper or shackle points through the bumper would be ok too. Is there anything out there? Anyone fab one of their own? Obviously I could buy an aftermarket bumper (and have seen some that I like) but looking for a way cheaper alternative for now. Thanks!

People would do a hitch flip and notch factory bumper.

The factory tie-down points with no hitch are bolted to the two closely spaced threaded holes near the back of the frame. The product linked above is a much thicker replacement for that part. I'd still worry about ripping the frame apart if you really yanked on it, but that's what you need.
There may also be more universal (ie cheaper) options out there since that bolt spacing, or near enough, is used on a number of other vehicles.

I was in the same boat and almost did the hitch-flip
96RedRunner mentioned and I even procured myself the 2-piece version of the factory hitch (required to do a hitch-flip). I ended up going with the Trail Gear Rock Defense tube bumper instead because it was relatively cheap and minimalist while providing a receiver for my bike rack (not DOT rated for heavy towing) and more clearance. There are endless spots for a soft shackle. If you weren't in ND I'd give you the hitch to fiddle around with. The OCD recovery point GhostRing linked looks burly - I might add one of those.
I have looked at that Trail Defense bumper and decided I like it a lot. I also want on board air so I think the bumper will have to wait for a while (just got the 4R and installed OME/5100s, tires, stereo so "budget" is gone..). That recovery point looks like a great option but also like it sticks down quite a bit? Anyone have pics that show it better than the website? I will also look into the hitch flip. I had intended to do that but I have the one piece hitch, and a bolt broke off removing it too so.. Thanks for the input!

Lotta folks had the one piece hitch, saw or grinder and a competent welder solves that. Broke bolt not that big a deal.
Just saying when on a tight budget. BTDT

This is what I run on my front. I still have a hitch in the back, but I would run these back there if I didn't.

Info is scarce depends on hitch you have.
Hitch that has receiver below crossbar bolted or welded this is what you get.

Hitch that has receiver same plain as crossbar you cut frame mounts off crossbar. Flip the mounting plates
to where they set inside frame rails long part of L pointing upward instead of down.
Does require making frame mounting holes into slots.
Cut equal lengths off ends of crossbar to fit between mounting plates notch bumper weld in place.
