Rear spring question

Will a 3rd gen spring fit a 2nd gen? There's one at the yard, but before I go pulling them to try it I figured I would ask the great people on this forum.

You might consider replacing the springs with Moog coil springs(#CC255), which are quite inexpensive. If you've got a sag in the rear of the truck, you might also look into urethane control and lateral arm bushings(Suspension Restoration Parts Co.). No affiliation.

no they dont fit..2 gen and 3rd gen springs are slightly different
