Yesterday, I am getting gas for my truck and I accidentally left the lights on while filling up (at most 5 minutes)- key was in off position. I go to start the car, and click click click. Get pushed out of the pumps and somebody gives me a boost. The truck starts up after two attempts. I drive it around 20 miles and keep it running for around 40 minutes. Today I decide to bring it over to Sears for a battery. The truck starts in my driveway, but it definitely struggles. I get to Sears and the truck dies again when the guy is trying to pull it in back. He told me that my battery was putting out 9 volts, my alternator is putting out 14 volts, and the starter is perfect. Do you think that this was only my battery? The old battery was a 4 year old interstate. Before yesterday, I noticed no signs of weakness. I replaced it with a Die Hard Gold 24f. I hope I shouldn't have went with the bigger battery. Any help is appreciated
