If any of you subscribe to the NHTSA you will have seen the recall notice for some Cooper tires for sidewall separation issues, including Discoverer AT3, ATP.

Phew.. just had my LT285/70R-17 COOPER DISCOVERER AT3 XLT E delivered on Friday. Glad they're not on the list!

I like my cooper tires. Looks like the ones in the recall are all bigger than my stock ones.

At first glance, I don't see a single tire size on that recall list that is relevant to any 4Runner trim except maybe for someone who decided to go from 17s or 20s to aftermarket 18s.
