I'm close enough and willing to drive. I hate the factory seats that I have in my 99 SR5 package. How are these for comfort on long drives? I know the performance abilities of Recaros in cars but not how the would work out in a 4runner?

They are great on long drives. Drove from Seattle to Southern oregon, then over to the coast and up the 101 a few different times. never had any complaints. I also have a "exact fit" black rear seat cover i'll throw in for any 3rd gen owner so that at least the color of the fronts and rears will match.

Bump for a great and very worth while modification. If you are even thinking of seat covers or new seats. I think Recaros are the way to go.

I was looking at a custom seat cover set, and they want $179.99 for my 93. The left side of driver's bolster is starting to wear thin.
