Thanks, actually is from a recent production run just before they where stoped beeing produced. It is a 45th aniversary eddition.

Nice Mini, it was always my favorite car growing up in Europe. Boy I wish they made the new Mini's look a lot more like the old once. I would have bought one in a heartbeat. What is that a 1100 or 1300?

Great looking cars. I notice the towels / tarps under the mini. I owned 2 British cars, a 64 Triumph and a 59 Jaguar. I got a chuckle out of the picture since I put towels under my British cars, I guess they still build cars the same way.

Ja yes they still build them the same way, same goes for the Land Rovers.
A friend says that if it is British and it has no leaks, then you have a serious problem. Ja

Lights???

Are those Hella 550's on the top of your Load Warrior??? They look good whatever they are. How did you wire them up? Thru the rear cargo area?

Yes they are 550's.
I actually wanted them to be of easy removal as I travel to places where the roof rack makes the car to tall to enter parking buildings. So I ran the wire trough the drivers side door pillar and you can actually see the wire going up from outside. I then added one of dose male and female trailer connectors to the power line so that they could be unpluged easyly.

Thats a great idea... I assume they are the "Driving Lights"??? How are they lighting up the road from up there? You get any glare off the hood or anything? Those are exactly what I've been thinking about for mine since I got my rack. They look great!!!

Yes they are driving lights I actually got them a chekers auto parts. they light up pretty good. They give you a very good heads up for put holes and other obstacles. As far as glare, I get none, I guess because of the mounting position and I basically have them pointing straight up. You might have to get the yakima lamp mounting brackets so instalation can be faster.

Sorry for the late update, but I have had lots of work recently.
Here are some photos of how the lights installation was made on my car.
Used a Trailer electric connector to keep them removable at all times.
