Low tire pressure light

Hi does anyone know how to get the light off. I start the 4 runner and the light flashes and then does not flash but stays on. Does the spare tire have anything to do with this? I filled up all tires but the spare and my is a 2014 SR5.

I think only the 2014 Limited has a spare tire TPMS sensor, your issue is mostly likely dead batteries in one or more of the 4 sensors, the battery usually dies at around 10 years old and you're passed that, most either get all 4 sensors replaced or do a TPMS by-pass and live without the system.

Happened to me in a 2017 Limited. I was on a long trip and it drove me crazy until I thought to fill the spare and it has not bothered me since.

It could also be that the batteries in the sensors are dying/have died. That happened in my 2013. Most say the batteries are only good for about 10 years. Of course, mine died a few days after getting new tires installed last year.
