So its been awhile since i did anything to the runner, so i went ahead and grabbed alot of sandpaper, undercoating, Plasi-dip, Flat black paint, and a few days, and this is what i ended up with. I plasti-koted a set of Tacoma rims i had laying around and the front lower vailance, undercoated the entire chassis and suspension, the wheel wells, and the hitch for good measure, painted the emblems flat black. This is what i ended up with.....at least for now. Comments always welcome.

Looks good and this may sound dumb but did u plasti dip the chasis? and how did u get the emblems off to paint them I wanna do the same thing to mine

Antpwr, looks great! Did you pop the bead on the tires, tape, then spray, or did you remove the wheels first? Just curious. Looks like your hard work paid off!

I have never been a fan of those directional Taco 5 Stars but in Plasti - black against your silver looks great!

yeah i hate the tacoma rims, didnt last a week when i bought the tacoma lol, but they do look much better now, thanks for the replies guys. and FYI i did not pop the bead, all i did was use some 1/2 wide blue tape, took my time and stuffed it down in between the tire and rim as far down as i could go, and it worked out pretty well. And i just undercoated the frame and everything after i cleaned the hell out of it. turned out pretty well, next step is the underside of the body, fun fun fun. So far i have had them on there for about a month and they have held up great cant wait to take it off road and see what happens, will keep you guys posted

Did you plasti - cote the plastic plate that goes around the license plate?

If so, how do you get it off? Thanks.

no i didnt touch the rear license plate are at all, but was considering doing that and the plastic step plate on the rear bumper

still have a bit of touch up, but this is all that is done so far
