Red Clay Rally

Hey guys,

Just posting a thread showing my most recent Red Clay Rally. The RCR is a 3 day, 600 mile on/offroad rally thru the Appalachian Mountains, USA. We just completed the 2019 rally which was the 3rd event. This is a TSD rally so you are trying to match the target time, by using coordinates and travel times to determine what speed you need to be going during the course. Competitors from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Ecuador were competing this year.

This year was the most technical to date, and I figured I would share some pictures here for you all to enjoy. There are THOUSANDS of pictures on instagram under the hashtag #RedClayRally. This rally believes in improving the areas we traverse, and this year competitors picked up 669lbs of trash from Tennessee and Kentucky trails. I would love for you all to become part of the rally, and our journey to clean up Appalachia 1 mile at a time.

check out my instagram, overland_tennessee for several more pics posted daily. Theres also several more pics on Red Clay Rally

Hey Porqupine82

Thanks for putting the event on! Really glad I did it this year. It was a serious load of fun and probably the most technical driving I've done to date, definitely a few pucker moments. (at least for me)

Surprisingly, I managed to walk away with no damage to the truck. Yeah!
