Hi All,
I've noticed recently my turning circle on '98 4runner is considerably wider that it was previously. Before I could do a really right U-turn ... now I need to do a three point turn on the roads here. Its a small thing but something I really liked about the 4runner. There is no rubbing sound or anything.
Over the previous couple of months a few things have been changed so hoping you might be able to help identify what could have caused this and if I can adjust it back...
So, first and most obvious to me is that the steering rack was replaced. Could this cause it? Could the guy have put in the wrong steering rack? or installed it wrong?
Suspension was changed. I think lower ball joints were also changed not too long ago.
