Remote Start install Help please

Hello all. Looking for some help with a remote start install. I have a 2008 SR5 4runner V6, automatic. My wife bought me an Autostart AS-2482 TWSD with
Directed DB3 Databus All Interface Module for Christmas. I've done some installs before, but never on a 4Runner, and never with a bypass module. And the DB3 did not include instructions or a wiring diagram. Some websites (including Crutchfield) say I don't even need the DB3 bypass module because I dont have the JBL system or Navigation. Anyone here have any experience? I'm decent with schematics if anyone has any. Thanks in advance.

I installed a Fortin EVO-ONE-TOY1 alarm in my 2008 V6. I purposely went with Crutchfield when ordering to have access to their technical support during the install.

It's been several years since the install so I don't recall much of the details. They did provide a wiring harness which made the install pretty straight forward once I knew where tap into. Here are some images to help when tapping into the existing wiring. Not sure how much it will help.

that bypass module needs to be programed

you can have your stereo shop program it for a few bucks. otherwise use another bypass module.

i used it before, it works. but now there is new brains out there that have cartridge slot for the bypass module, also they make less clutter to hide module.
