Looking to install a remote start kit from Accessorides in my 2021 Sr5. Considering going with the 2-way long range fob, which requires installing the long range receiver in vehicle.
Accessorides said the only additional hardware installation would be removing the rubber weatherstrip and run the antenna wire up that channel for the best range. They also said many users leave the antenna under the dash and still get great range, but not as long as if you run it up the a-pillar.
Has anyone installed one of these long range antennas and left it under the dash? Where did you put it under the dash? How far does the long range fob work with this antenna location?
