New to the Reno area and was hoping there are some fellow 4th Genners on here. I'm also looking for a good shop to get my front springs swapped out and eventually a timing belt service. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Try try the local forum at reno4x4.com—lots of good local information and trail runs from time to time. I live in South Reno, but have been doing my own service so unfortunately don’t have any recomendations of my own.

Yes I did join that forum. Seems fairly active actually for this area. I'm planning to drive to Auburn Sunday to some basic maintenance at a friends, but I need to find a mechanic soon as I have some noise coming from the serpentine system. Probably a bad fan clutch or idler pulley, I hope.

I was hoping it was an idler pulley or tensioner, but after listening more closely I'm thinking water pump? I'm going to take off the serpentine belt Sunday and spin everything by had to see if I can find the culprit.
