Reputable shop/mechanic in the Torrance area

I'm looking for a reputable shop/mechanic to look at a 4Runner. I'm interested in buying it, and just want to make sure everything is sound and ready to go.

Also I'm not familiar with the 2.7 L 3RZ-FE I4, what things should I ask the seller about it? What maintenance should be done?
