I think something is loose somewhere on my 4Runner and I can't figure out what it is. I've already removed all the heat shields and the skid plates and it didn't help.
Something is resonating at a variety of frequencies. If a vehicle with a loud exhaust drives next to me, for example, I can feel the vibration from HIS exhaust through MY steering wheel.
What could be light enough to be vibrated by sound waves and pass that vibration through the steering column? My only guess is that it's my exhaust system but nothing feels loose when I get under there and start pulling on things.
