Retired and Ordering 2023 would like your thoughts

Our 4Runner does NOT have sunroof but has navigation. Never thought I'd use it but after roaming around the seedier parts of Victorville, CA at night for a couple of hours trying to find my brother's house in Apple Valley, I decided to learn how to use it. Now, I'm still learning but I LOVE it!

That sounds funny, yet tragic. I was born in Victorville, raised in southeastern Apple Valley in the foothills. That was more than seven decades ago. Back then there were less than 7,500 people in the entire Victor Valley; Apple Valley, Hesperia and Lucerne Valley were small communities. I left the area 50 years ago for the eastern Sierra and eventually rural northern Nevada.

My brother actually has a CHL for California!! He actually is in Apple Valley. I used to collect rattlesnakes on Bear Valley Rd out by Lucerne and a friend did her MS on sidewinders at Stoddard Wells.
