Ok so some one asked me months ago when i said i had purchased a set for my 4 runner to review them....

After several thousand miles i think i have about 3k on them i feel as though i have give them a fair beating...
Settings 1-9 i think depending on who is driving me or the girlfriend depends on how stiff i set them for the street i run 1 click down from fully stiff (this i way more dampening then i need for doing no more then 45mph) but i set it stiff to compensate for such an underperforming sway bar....
For off roading i feel as though setting them at 3 is the lowest i want to go as they are a bit light in the rebound department and setting 4 is about on par with a monroe sensa **** shock... Less then 3 and i feel as though it was on par with the sensa trak shocks that were installed when i got it but some how some one managed to blow a hole through 1 of the shocks
So what is my opinion of them you ask?
The stock suspension setup on these trucks is garbage and no amount of cheap bolt on will fix this... I feel as though these trucks needed more suspension travel stock....
For an off the shelf bolt on shock that is adjustable for a medium use shock... They work would i have rather gone with bilsteins 5100 series.. Simple answer is No....
With the 3 liter 2 full turns on the torsion bars and stuffing 33's under it the 5100 are way to hard imo for off road and way to soft for street driving (compared to the rancho 9k's the 5100 are like a setting 5 or 6)
