Rigid 1x2 Scene Light

Anyone have any experience with this light? I'm thinking it might make a good light for the side of my roof rack if I add a bracket or something to accommodate the need for a flat mounting surface. The thought even crossed my mind to mount them on the back of the 3rd gen spoiler but I'm mostly concerned with side lighting right now.
