Just got my hands on my new-to-me 2011 T4R. While it checked out great mechanically, there are a couple cosmetic issues I want to fix.
First is a torn center console. I've seen some covers on Amazon that haven't gotten great reviews, but don't really want to spend $200 on a whole new top.
Secondly, the rubber pads on the step bars are cracking pretty bad. Hoping I don't have to buy new bars, but I can't tell how they attach. It looks like the brand is Aries.
Any ideas on these? The body shop guy told me to ask at the dealership, which sends me into immediate convulsions.
Just need new tires and brakes in the next few months and I'll be good to go. I'm not a fan of the road noise in these Duratracs, but maybe that's just because they're so worn (6/32"). Looking at BFG KO2s or Geolandars. I don't take it off-road but need something good for the snow. Getting lots of good info from the tire threads.
