Road Trip from CO-->CA *picture heavy

I recently did a road trip from CO to CA and back. along the way i stopped off at a couple of trails. The trip was 2400 miles round trip and it was just my dog and I who did it. Took us a little over 4 days to complete the trip.
Gas Milage was about 380/tank. The nav in the UR crashed about 12-15 times. We saw temps from 40-110degrees and elevations from sea level to 11,000+'
A great fun trip and an easy drive to do.

I thought i would share a few pics from the trip

Here we are on the Utah Border

Gas was very expensive in Utah and i was on E.

I stayed the night about an hour north of Vegas

Here is my dog over looking the Las Vegas Blvd, even at 5am the place is still popping

I stopped off at Bloody Basin Road in AZ. It was about 104 degrees out. i was all alone and not a soul in the world knew where i was so this was probably not smart. But the trail was easy and i had no issues.

Then we stayed the night in Wolf Creek area of CO and headed back home.

ah thanks. whats funny is thats the only one i didnt take ha.
i met up with a friend in San Diego and she took that one with my P&S, but i did edit it :artist:
my P&S always blows things out so i had to clean it up a little.

the odometer was shot using my iPhone

the rest were shot on my SLR using that lense yep.

I didnt do San Fran this time. Ive been there a few times before though. I had contemplated for a little bit driving up the whole coast to Seattle then back to CO...but ive done that before.
My main goal was to visit my friend and see areas i havent seen before. So Arizona and Southern CO.

My next road trip im hoping for in October is to South Dakota

i just have a canon xti and the 28-105 lense. or a nifty fifty sometimes. i shoot in camera raw so i have to run everything through photoshop to process.
