Short sweet up to date on my rid from start to now. *it'll never be finished*

my first T4r that i caught the 4Runnin bug from ( two post thread. sorry guys. lots of pics to start off with.)

bought it for 7k cash

two hours before a huge snowstorm hit KC MO. I payed more than i wanted to... but with snow on the way i was hungry to have my runner! :hungry:

first thing i did was drive to wally world and get floor mats (which were Sh*t anyways)

first mod was a sterio set up, i love my music, but now that i look back, i didnt really need the two 12's. its just excessive and i rarely use them. but they are JL 12's, JL 750 watt amp and kenwood excelon headunit.

Second mod i did the next day was to wire up some floor board lights. mostly because it was a cheap mod and i like to wire stuff.

the next thing i went about doing was getting some lift and some tires and wheels that i wanted.

i went with a daystar 2.5 spacer lift (huge mistake. if your thinking about doing it, Dont) 33in nitto terra grapplers and 17in black steel rims.

Then it looked a little like this

Then i took her out to get her first tase of dirt. She outran the chevys and fords. i was way proud.

waited a while for it to warm up, and got around to PLASTI DIPPIN my badges and while i was at it, i did my grill front and rear bumpers. and a month later it is still holding on strong. no problems at all.

I took a break of mods for a month or two because i was behind in schooling but! i am back on a roll again, and i put on my flow master 40 two days ago.

i ended up spray on bedliner my limited flares to match bumpers and grill.

and a lil teaser for another post in a few days when i get done, i went and picked up 4 BIG mopar KC hilightes for 30 dollars today, and they only have about an hour use on em ( Hi im roman and im addicted to craigslist.)

Looks good man! I do like both versions of your truck though! The stock colors are great, but you're newly repainted flares, bumpers, grill, and the new wheels look good too!

That is what I was thinking too, the black-out looks good.

Is that a Gobi basket on your roof? I would like to get one but I'm concerned with the aero dynamics of adding a basket and what it would do to MPG.

Are you going to build a gun rack? It looks like you have a nice weapon collection. I have an SKS with 30 round banana clip on it (highly illegal here in NJ so I don't get a chance to shoot much).

No gun rack, i have my ccw so i just carry my 9mm ruger with me. (im 18 years old) :ak472:

and for the roof rack, its a curt manufacturing roof rack with extension. my neighbor gave it to me and i like it, i think you could pick up the full setup for about 160 bucks though.

my runner is a 1998 limited 4wd rear locker. And i appreciate all the commments guys! :thanks:

So it's been a while since I've updated this thread with my mods.

Here is a small list

Interior gauges and lights are all red now

Three offroad lights mounted to the roof rack pointing front

One offroad light pointing rear

I have mounted a fire extinguisher

Custom fabbed intake

Got some pretty cool seat
Covers for the leather I absolutely hate.

And I'll post some more updated pics tomorrow but these few are from a couple weeks ago when I took both my runners out on a small ride here in Kansas city.

No good offroad? or is the ride on the street just terrible??
