Just picked up a 2008 Urban Runner 4x4. My wife gave birth to our second son and our corolla couldnt handle it. This is my second 4runner and 3rd Toyota truck. This is going to be a loooong and slow process but I will get it modded sooner or later. I had a 2003 Tacoma for years and never got to get it how I wanted it.

Anyhow, here it is with my oldest son.

Looking at my options as far as a lift is concerned, I really like the idea of the fj coils and shocks. I am a big fan of keeping things OEM. Its interesting that so many parts are interchangeable on runners Tacoma's and fjs. Im also a fan of keeping the stock tire size because changing gears is expensive as hell. If I can get another couple of inches of ground clearance I'll be happy. That being said here is my list of near future mods:

XREAS delete
FJ suspension
Dynapro ATs

I want to keep it conservative for the time being because I'm still getting settled in.

Did some basic stuff today. I greased the driveshafts at all but the very front zerks. I also replaced the info strip bulbs. They were both out and it was really annoying not having a clock at night. The process was pretty straight forward and parts from toyotapart.com got here from Michigan in 2 days!
